Cyanotype Making Workshop with James Lattanzio at the Space

3:00pm - 5:00pm
The Space will be having a cyanotype workshop on June 22nd. The cyanotype process is a camera-less technique that uses iron salts to create white and blue contact prints on paper. Various objects are laid on the paper and exposed to UV light. Its a fun and experimental process that yields unexpected and magical results.

Photographer James Lattanzio will take us step by step through the process. Each person will make at least 2 prints. Bring objects that are somewhat flat that you’d want to make an image of. Flowers and leaves are typical but anything with an interesting silhouette can be great. James’ image shown here used algae from the sea.
