Walk for Our Neighbors on October 5th and Support Overnight Winter Respite!

Join Montclair Emergency Services for Hope, Inc. (MESH) as we gear up to support Overnight Winter Respite for the entirety of the 2024-25 season! Your participation in this event will help us raise crucial funds to provide shelter for those in need from December 1st, 2024 to April 1st, 2025.

This event features a 2.5-mile informative route through Montclair, highlighting the daily lives and experiences of our unhoused guests. The walk will start at MESH Café and include stops at other local organizations that provide vital support, including our Overnight Winter Respite. This route represents the journey our guests take to access meals, toiletries, showers, clothing, and a safe place to rest.

General Donation:

Meet the Organization
Montclair Emergency Services for Hope, Inc.

Through partnerships with houses of worship, community-based organizations, and dedicated community members, MESH directly addresses the escalating rates of hunger and housing insecurity in Essex County by offering tangible hope. We provide nutritious meals six days a week, seasonal clothing, toiletries, hygiene products year-round, weekly laundry service, and winter overnight respite. Our dinner services are accessible Monday through Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, and our overnight winter respite is available December 1st through April 1st annually.

Our Services 

  • Dinner is served Monday through Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at MESH Café.
  • MESH Shop provides daily distribution of clothing, toiletries, hygiene products, and other essential items.
  • Laundry services are available on alternating Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Seasonal Overnight Winter Respite is offered annually from December 1st through April 1st.
