Monty Presents Sam Sundos- Introductory Tatreez Workshop

Back by popular demand, Brooklyn-based Palestinian-American artist Sam Sundos will be back at monty to lead another introductory tatreez workshop on Sunday, September 29th!

Learn the intricate craft and rich history of traditional Palestinian embroidery and its use as a form of artistic expression, storytelling, and resistance against oppression in all forms ❤️

All attendees will receive a packet containing everything they need to begin their tatreez journey: Aida cloth, tapestry needles, thread, and two motif examples – with the ability to explore additional motifs during class. Learn a new skill and gain a deeper understanding of this powerful art form and the beautiful way Palestinians express the universally human desire for liberation.
