GETTING HERE IS EASY

Located in Essex County, NJ and ideally situated, Montclair is just 12 miles from NYC and only 14 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. We are easily accessible via train, bus, taxi or car. Transit buses and trains run regularly with six (6) train station around town making it an easy commute from Mid-town Manhattan, NY. We are also central to a number of major highways making driving to Montclair a breeze.

By Car:

We have direct routes from State Highway Route 3 or State Highway 280 traveling East or West, and from the Garden State Parkway traveling North or South.

Parking:

In addition to street parking, there are numerous parking decks located throughout Montclair. We recommend downloading the ParkMobile app for easy access.

Single Use Parking Permit

Overnight visitors/guests/friends/family of Montclair residents who display this permit may park in a municipal parking lot marked” Permit Parking Only” or in front of the resident’s home until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. The single-use visitor parking permits may be purchased online and printed at home at a daily rate of $5.

The single-use parking permit may not be used on County roads.
